A Walk in West Chester
There’s never anything fun about having your car inspected in Pennsylvania. For me, it generally revolves around sitting in a terribly uncomfortable chair sipping tar-like coffee. This year, things were a little better. I was treated to an unexpected day off due to a very sick wife – and it was her car that needed inspecting – an early appointment at a friend of the family’s West Chester auto shop, and an unseasonably warm January day. Camera in hand, I had three hours to kill while wandering around the little borough best known for its college kids. Funny thing is, I think I only saw about three of them.
